Instructions

  1. Prepare Aromatics

    • Peel and grate the carrots and ginger.
    • Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic.

    • Fry breaded tofu slices in batches for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
    • Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels.

    • Fluff with a fork and keep warm.
  13. Layer the Dish

    • Preheat skillet before frying tofu to prevent sticking.
    • For a healthier version, bake breaded tofu at 200°C (400°F) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
